State of Gender Equality

The Government of Rwanda has made promotion of gender equality one of the key priorities for good governance and ensure human rights. Within these frameworks, a strong and solid stage for gender equality and women's empowerment was set for women and men of Rwanda to realize their rights, potentials, aspirations and be full partners and beneficiaries in the Country's development. From transition to transformation, it is visible that Gender Equality and the empowerment of women in Rwanda is not a myth but an achievable goal in the journey of transformation as documented in this Booklet entitled the State of Gender Equality in Rwanda. The highlighted achievements within this booklet have been possible thanks to the strong political will and commitment to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women by the country's top leadership.

Gender Profile in the Health Sector

The Gender Profile in the Health Sector contains information picturing the gender status in this sector and serves as a guide to policy makers and different actors in advancing policy actions geared towards improving the life of both men and women.
